Cathay Pacific celebrates eight decades of service with one of the most artistic special schemes the airline has ever flown — and WB Models brings it home to your collection in precision 1:200 scale.

Unveiled on March 9, 2026 at Hong Kong International Airport, the "Spirit of Hong Kong – 80th Anniversary Edition" livery transforms Boeing 777-300ER B-KQU into a flying canvas. Created in partnership with the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, the design is the work of Hong Kong multimedia artist Victor Wong, whose generative artwork uses geographical data to render abstract landscapes and colours that flow across the entire fuselage. Inspired by Cathay's award-winning "Gallery in the Skies" Business Class concept, the livery carries both the airline's "80 Years Together" anniversary mark and the WestK logo — a tribute to Hong Kong's cultural identity that now circles the globe on Cathay's flagship long-haul aircraft.

B-KQU itself has served Cathay Pacific since December 2014 and was repainted at Xiamen Taikoo earlier this year before re-entering commercial service in her striking new colours. She joins the airline's retro "lettuce leaf sandwich" A350 (B-LRJ) and 747-8F freighter (B-LJE) as part of a small fleet of commemorative aircraft marking Cathay's 80th anniversary year.

This 1:200 scale diecast from WB Models faithfully reproduces every detail of Victor Wong's artwork, with crisp paint application, accurate panel lines, finely detailed landing gear, and the authentic "80 Years Together" and WestK markings.
